In North Carolina, any charter or rental (for hire) boat must be piloted or driven by a United States Coast Guard Licensed Master Captain. (NC Vessel Operating Guide). There are countless hours of training, testing, and vetting that are required to get a USCG Master Captain’s License. You wouldn’t get in a car with an unlicensed, uninsured driver, would you?

We have two boats to choose from depending on your party size:

22′ Bentley Pontoon – 10 guests with a 2,000-pound maximum capacity.

  • 2-hour Sunset cruise – $550.00
  • 1/2 day boat rental (4 hours) – $750.00
  • full-day boat rental – (8 hours) – $1,150.00

30′ JC Tri-Toon – 15 guests with a 3,000-pound maximum capacity.

  • 2-hour Sunset cruise – $825.00
  • 1/2 day boat rental (4 hours) – $1,125.00
  • full-day boat rental – (8 hours) – $1,725.00

There is a $100 discount if you charter both boats on the same day and time.

A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking per boat rental, with the final payment due 14 days before your boat rental.

Cancellations due to severe weather are determined by the captain on the day of your rental. *We do not cancel due to weather forecasts. *If there is inclement weather the day of your rental that prevents us from getting on the water we will issue a full refund. Our recommendation, come down to the dock and hope for the best…we’ve had some epic boat parties in the rain!

You’ll want to bring: Sunscreen, Towels, a light jacket or sweatshirt for cooler morning and evening boat rides, camera, phone for music options, a change of clothes for children if wanted, beverages, cash or credits cards for lakeside dining / drinks, gratuities etc..

Your Captain does a lot of work behind the scenes to make sure you enjoy your time on the lake, that being said gratuities or tips are always appreciated.

Yes, you can bring food on the boat. We provide a large cooler with bottled water and ice. Make sure you bring plates, napkins, and plasticware with you. Check out our Snacks page if you’d like us to take care of it for you.

You can bring beer, wine, malt beverages etc.. (basically anything you can buy in the grocery store in North Carolina) but hard liquor (Vodka, Rum, Tequila etc..) is NOT allowed on the boat.

There isn’t a bathroom on the boat.  But with enough notice, your Captain can take you to the closest marina, for your convenience.

Bring lunch and beverages to put in the cooler, or we can stop at one of the local lakeside restaurants so you can sit back, and enjoy your day with no worries about driving, navigating, or getting lost. Bar Hopping on the Lake

Let Party Pontoon take you to 3-4 different lakeside bars and restaurants while you sit back and enjoy the scenery. Bring some beer or wine for the ride or just enjoy the specialty cocktails at each stop. We’ll share some local folklore and the history of the lake and can even fit in a stop to float or beach it on an island. Every Party Pontoon charter is different and they’re all designed by you and our team to exceed your expectations.

The Restaurant / Bar options are:

Mooresville, Davidson, Cornelius area – Eddies on Lake Norman, Havana 33, North Harbor Club, The Cabin, Lake Norman Cottage, and Hello Sailor.

Huntersville area – Port City Club, North Harbor Club, The Cabin, Lake Norman Cottage, and Hello Sailor.

Denver, Terrell area – The Landing, Blue Parrot Grill, Toucan’s Lakefront, and Apps & Taps

During your charter, we expect normal wear and tear. However, you will be charged for damage due to excessive wear or neglect. ie… cuts or tears in the seats or floor, damage to coolers etc… There will also be a $150.00 additional charge if you or any party members get sick on the boat.
